5 Neighbourhood Houses partner to Nourish the Community during COVID-19.
Pilot project to rescue surplus food and provide free, nutritious meals for people doing it tough. The project is a coordinated and collaborative Neighbourhood House response to food insecurity in Maribyrnong.
Meals are prepared at Yarraville Community Centre kitchen by qualified staff and distributed by Angliss Neighbourhood House, Duke Street Community House, Braybrook and Maidstone Neighbourhood House Yarraville Comunity Centre and West Footscray Neighbourhood House.

Celebrate Neighbourhood House week with a FREE “Declutter your life” workshop. This is a fun interactive session full of practical tips for a clear plan to get on with your decluttering journey. Come along and join the BMNH Playgroup and connect with other mothers in your Neighbourhood. Share a light snack for the children and friendship for the Mum’s. Activities for the young ones will be provided.

This program is to support anyone on low income, or experiencing hardship. Each week we receive Fruit, Vegetables and Pantry and dairy goods. This program runs every Tuesday through out the year except for Cup Day and Christmas closure. We also have frozen meals for pick up every Tuesday between 12pm and 3pm. Please ring office to make an appointment or if needing more information on 9317 5610. This is a bookings only program.

Learn how to make a mosaic working with colourful tiles to make a piece of art. Every Wednesday.
