Free nutritious meals provided to those doing it tough. All meals are prepared weekly at the Yarraville Community Centre’s kitchen by qualified staff and distributed to Duke Street Community house and the Braybrook and Maidstone Neighbourhood house. Free book swap at the Braybrook and Maidstone Neighbourhood House. Either come in and choose a book from our little library inside, or our Library box out the front! Don’t forget to leave a book for someone else to read.
Recycling station –
The Braybrook and Maidstone Neighbourhood House now have a recycling station that accepts used batteries, soft plastics, old light globes, pens, markers, texters, old x-ray’s and Cd’s!

Playgroup term 4: the last playgroup group will be on Monday the 9th of December and returning at the start of term 1 on Monday the 10th of February 2025.
Come along, join the BMNH Playgroup, and connect with other mothers in your Neighbourhood. Share a light snack for the children and friendship for the Mum’s. Activities for the young ones will be provided.

Donated by Bakers Delight Sunshine. Pick up between 9.00 AM until 2:30 PM every Monday. (time subject to bread availability).
Last fruit and veg box collection day is Tuesday the 17th of December 2024 and re starting on Tuesday the 21st of January 2025.
This program is to support anyone on a low income or experiencing hardship. Each week we receive fruit, vegetables, pantry and dairy goods. This program runs every Tuesday throughout the year, except for Cup Day and Christmas closure. We also have frozen meals for pick up every Tuesday between 12.00 PM and 2.00 PM. Please call the office to make an appointment or if you need more information on (03) 9317 5610. This is a booking only program. Tuesday’s at The Braybrook and Maidstone Neighbourhood House is dedicated to providing families from our local communities with much-needed food relief. We’d like to mention SecondBite Australia and Water 2 All, who provides us with pantry goods, fresh fruit and vegetables so we can keep doing what we do throughout the year, helping out those in the community who do it tough.

We have an activity room for hire to suit meetings, workshops and social groups etc. The room is available for casual or ongoing bookings.

Bring along your unwanted goods and donate them to the trading table. Goods must be in good condition. 80% of donations are given to those in need. Any proceeds are used to purchase materials for classes.
