WICKER BASKET GARDENING FREE WORKSHOP 

This workshop will be run in partnership with Maribyrnong City Council "My Smart Garden Program" on Saturday 9th June at 9.30am. 

We will host a Wire Pot Wicking Bed workshop which will transform one of the once were sidewalk treatments to a lush wicking bed work of art. Learn about the assembly of a wicking bed, the materials required, suitable plants water saving and sustainability benefits in this hands on and informative session. You can stay for lunch and take home a handout which will help you recreate a wicking bed in your own space. For bookings go to www.mysmartgarden.com.au

There is a range of government funded accredited courses in Animal Studies, Cleaning, Customer Service, Hotel operations, Cafe operations, Food Safety, Barista, English and others. Bring along your unwanted goods and donate to the trading table. Goods must be in good condition. 

All proceeds go to the BMNH for the purchase of materials for classes, this keeps the cost of classes down.
