CHANGES TO BMNH DUE TO THE COVID-19

Classes have been put on hold untill further notice. Our free bread is still available on Mondays donated by Bakers Delight Sunshine between 10am and 3pm and we are also running our Food Security program on Tuesdays between 10am to 3.30pm appointments only for needy families.  There is also Free soup dontated by Jerrys. The fruit and vegetables are donated by SecondBite. Water 2 All kindly delivers Fruit and vegetables and pantry goods delivered by Tony. We are running phone support for our Community on Wednesdays and Thursdays and are ringing our elderly members to make sure they are not in need of anything. Our hours are Monday - Thursday 9am to 3pm.

Monday

BMNH Playgroup Free ( on hold untill restrictions are lifted)

Come along and join the BMNH Playgroup and connect with other mothers in your Neighbourhood. Share a light snack for the children and friendship. Activities for the young ones will be provided. 

PLAYGROUP SUPPORTED BY NAFISA MONDAY 10.00 AM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MARIBYRNONG CITY COUNCIL. Guest speakers attend through out the year and the Maternal Child Health Nurse attends throughout the year. 

Playgroup Every Monday, school terms only 10.00am - 12.00pm Terms 1 and 2.


Basic Computer And Smart Phone Training. Free

Monday between 10am and 2pm. Ring for support with mobile phones and PC's. If your needing support or have any questions solved regarding smart phones or internet ,our tutor can guide you through your questions and concerns members will be supported by Zoom. 


BE CONNECTED PROGRAM FREE

Monday's school terms only. These workshops are to help older people thrive in a digital world. Discover how being online can add new skills and experiences to your life. Learn the basics of getting online. Build your confidence in using digital technology.  Ring between 10am and 2pm to get connected. Online support is available. Please ring office for further information. 


FREE BREAD

Donated by Bakers Delight Sunshine. Pick up between 10am and 3pm every  Monday

FREE CAT FOOD.

We have animal rescue organisation donating cat food to the House. Please phone 9317 5610 if you would like cat food for your kitty cats. Contact Vivienne.

Basic computer and smart phone training.Free

Monday and Tuesday 10am - 2pm. ring for advise on your smart phones and any internet concerns. This is an online service untill the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted


 

WEDNESDAY

Mosaics ( on hold untill restrictions are lifted)

Learn how to make a mosaic working with colourfull tiles to make a  piece of art

Every Wednesday. School Terms Only 10am - 12pm Cost $3  

Term 1 and 2 

 

COOKING WITH MARIA ( on hold untill restrictions are lifted)

This class will run for term 1 and 2. Wednesdays at 12.30-2.30. This is a multicultural cooking class with cusine  prepared from all over the world.  Cost $3

This class has much social interaction. Maria is an excellent tutor that brings to the class her expertise to her cooking and instruction.

 

Tenant Community Meeting Lunches

Enjoy a free Lunch. Meet local residents, new people, and get to know your neighbours. Guest speakers each luncheon .

Next Meeting will be announced once the restrictions for the COVID-19  are lifted.

We have an activity room for hire to suit meetings, workshops and social groups etc. The room is available for casual or ongoing bookings.

TRADING TABLE

Bring along your unwanted goods and donate to the trading table. Goods must be in good condition. 

All proceeds go to the BMNH for the purchase of materials for classes, this keeps the cost of classes down.
